Possible sheared punchheads or punch breakages, which can happen very often by heavy duty uses, are eliminated through a new head design. Sidewise shock waves are deflected from the outer head curb to the middle of the punch. These extreme heavy duty punches have a strengthened punch head (8 mm), a bigger faucal radius (R1,2), a 10 degree head chamfer (reduced to the shank diameter) and are produced in a special steel CPM M4 (powder metallic). All heads are reduced to HRC 40-55. The punches and retainers of the DURA-PUNCH™ series are marked with an "X".
We supply every standard and special shape, with or without ejector, and also the shear of the cutter can be produced to whisper, roof top or customer wishes. For a longer durability and a better wear protection we have different sorts of surface coatings.
A better handling and integration of these punches are assured with compatible retainers for round and shape punches.
